Several years ago, I reviewed Etymotic Research hf5 High-Fidelity earphones. Although being a writer at The Gadgeteer enables me to try/review many earphones per year, I continue to enjoy and regularly use the hf5′s to this day. Their size and performance are ideal for me. So, I was excited when Etymotic Research agreed to not [...]

If you think the image above is an iPad, you would be wrong. It’s the Epad ZT-180 Android Tablet. Android tablets seem to be all over the place lately, but the big boys (Samsung, Motorola, etc.) are pretty pricey. DHGate sent me an inexpensive Epad to review. Do you get what you pay for? Let’s [...]

Actually, I’m just jealous that they don’t have a version of the TunerMatic Action Tuner for ukuleles! The TunerMatic is a robotic guitar tuner. Just turn it on, place over a tuning knob, pluck a string and it will do the rest of the work. It will loosen and tighten the string till it is [...]

When I reviewed the iPad 2, someone asked if the new Smart Cover could be used with the original iPad, and the answer was “no” at the time.  A company called Smartfix has changed that answer to “yes” with their Smartsnap conversion kit.  It basically is an adhesive strip that you apply along one side [...]

Fish Finders, to those who don’t know, are these electronic mechanisms that either assist greatly in not having to stop by the fish shop on the way home or are a blasphemy on the sacrosanct sport of fishing. Depends on who you talk to. Electronic gardening equipment quite possibly could be seen in the same [...]

These Sinjimoru docks remind me of the earlier white and black iPods with the clear layer of plastic on top.  These docks can be used to sync or charge your iPhone 3G, 3GS, and 4 or newer iPods.  You use it with the USB cable and charger that came with your device, and you can [...]

I think the only other gadget out there that rivals the Nintendo Wii with the amount of 3rd party accessories has to be the iPad/iPhone. A company out of Australia has developed Pix & Stix –a special set of drum sticks and a guitar pick for more realistic instrument play while using the GarageBand app. [...]
