I returned from from Arlington Sunday night and am wiped out! This was my first time to attend a Sigma Kappa Sorority National Convention, and I had no idea what I should expect. Some of the highlights included meeting Stacey’s (another local alumna) and my wonderful roommates, Lisa & Jill from the University of Florida…

I have never really considered myself to be that picky about any of
my gear or laptop bags – just…particular. I know what I need, I
know how I like to organize my gear, and I don’t like to be locked
into someone else’s vision of how I should manage my stuff. My
perfect laptop bag will look feminine, but not too girly; it will
have well organized pockets, but not so many that I can’t find my
gear. It will be well made of quality materials so that it can
endure years of use, and it will be stylish without being too
trendy.

I hope that all of our US readers are having a great 4th of July holiday! I am going to throw a little something out in the mix, courtesy of the folks at Maxtor. For those who weren’t aware, during the month of June Maxtor sponsored a National Backup Awareness campaign. There were podcasts available

Has anyone else noticed the way that carabiners, once a tool used mainly by mountain climbers and other outdoorsy types have slowly been working their way into the mainstream? I have several water bottles with them attached, a pen, and even a travel wallet. I suppose it was only a matter of time before someone attached a carabiner to a flash memory drive, and this is actually an application that makes sense.

It wasn’t long ago that I reviewed the Geneva Tote Laptop Bag, an experience which marked my introduction to Mobile Edge’s reasonably priced offerings. Today I am going to look at their very popular Milano Tote, a bag that is so popular it seems to be continuously sold out on their site as well as that of several suppliers.

When I am working on my laptop, there is no doubt that using a supplemental mouse is much easier than trying to navigate with the Fujitsu P2110’s foam covered peg. After a day of wearing my pointer finger to a nub, I mentioned to Julie that I needed to buy a travel mouse. She got

One of our readers sent a link to this blog post and asked (tongue in cheek – I hope) why Julie and I weren’t invited to the T-Mobile Sidekick3 launch party… …along with Jessica Simpson, Eva Longoria, Kristin Cavallari, Christina Milian and anyone else in Hollywood that happened to be free that night. Well! I

One of the results of my sending out that blanket Linked-In email last month was that I got replies from people I had not corresponded with in ages. One of those respondents, James Porter, happens to be the inventor of a product that I reviewed last year, the handy iPorter xSD Memory Card Case. He

For the longest time, I was the person that didn’t back up any of the files stored on my computer. A year ago, when I reviewed the SCOTTeVEST SeV T-Shirt, there were quite a few people that immediately saw how great a Personal Area Network (PAN) enabled t-shirt such as this could be for their workouts, but there was one caveat – the first generation shirt was made of 100% heavy cotton. Some of our readers might recall that in late 2002, my husband Steve was diagnosed with appendiceal carcinoma, a rare cancer that affects the appendix. The last few months of 2002 and the first months of 2003 involved various rounds of chemotherapy followed by radiation treatments. As a complete novice to the world of cancer, one of the first things that I learned about chemotherapy was that it didn’t just occur in the hours Steve spent hooked to an IV. There were also subsequent chemotherapy and anti-nausea medications that had to be administered at the correct times on particular days. One of Steve’s anti-nausea medications had to be taken every six hours around the clock and without fail, or he would get sick. Since our bedroom’s clock only had two alarm settings, we had to rely upon my PDA’s Calendar alarms to keep up with dosage times. This wasn’t always practical but we made it work, and we eventually got past that stage of his treatment.

I am going to sound like a broken record when I say (yet again)
that the thing I enjoy most about iPod ownership is that so many
accessories are custom made to fit this digital music player.
Granted, I bought my 4th generation model right before the latest
incarnation, the iPod Video was introduced, but there are still
plenty of accessory manufacturers making goodies that will fit my
particular iPod. Today I am going to tell you about an iPod
accessory that has quickly become a personal favorite, the Macally
FM Cup.
