Resco Audio Recorder – Windows Mobile Utility

Here’s a review that I have been looking forward to doing…an application with some real life uses for my PocketPC! Being a “gadget junkie”, I am always looking for smart ways to use my device, something that is actually needed, not made up. That is the case with my review of Resco’s Audio Recorder.

Ducti High Voltage Laptop Bag

During Julie’s last Garage sale, I picked up the Ducti High Voltage Messenger bag she had. I loved the bag’s unique style when I first read her review, although I didn’t think it was worth the $50, so I didn’t buy it from Ducti. That turned out to be a wise decision, since I got it from Julie for less than half the price! I really liked the bag when I first got it; it holds my 13″ MacBook with room for my cell phone, iPod, and keys. However, the bag has no padding for the laptop, so I knew if I wanted to keep the bag I would need a slipcover for my laptop.

Apple iPod Nano (2nd Generation)

The Apple iPod nano has received an extreme
makeover. Not that it really needed one though… The
1st generation iPod
nano
which was released approximately 1 year before the 2nd gen nano, looked
like a baby version of the full sized player. This new version looks more like
an anorexic version of the discontinued iPod mini. Are the changes all cosmetic,
are are there some other new bits under the hood of this very popular DAP
(digital audio player)? Let’s take a closer look.

Bluetake BT400GL Bluetooth Headset

I want to start out by saying that I typically do not use a Bluetooth headset all that often. I’m not one of those people that you see in the grocery store walking around with a blinking plastic blob hanging out of their ear. The only time I really use a headset is when I’m driving to and from my day job. The headset that I’ve been using for awhile now has been the Cardo Systems scala-500. I’ve found this headset to be both comfortable to wear and easy to use. A few weeks ago, Bluetake approached me to see if I might like to test the BT400GL.

Look Ma, No Mouse!

Check out this video demo of a “Multi-touch” computer user interface that was recorded almost 1 year ago. http://www.ted.com/tedtalks/tedtalksplayer.cfm?key=j_han Very cool stuff! I wonder how long it will be before we actually do completely abandon keyboards and mice. Anyone care to speculate? SHARE ON TwitterFacebookPin It

Sena Cases LeatherSkin Case for Treo 680

I have owned almost every wireless-capable Palm/Treo since the days of
the Vx and Omnisky. The routine is always the same, quick, buy the
newest Palm Phone when it comes out, laugh at everyone else who can’t
buy one because they are sold out, and then spend the next few weeks
deciding if it needs a case and what case to buy.

Edifier H260 Earphones

I like music. I like to listen to the rhythmic and melodic flow of a well-written piece of music. However, it doesn’t matter how well a piece is written or how high a bitrate you encode it at if you don’t have anything good to listen to it with. I’ve drifted through many sets of earphones, headphones, earbuds, etc., trying to find the right pair to use. Since I was given the chance to review a pair for The Gadgeteer, I think I’ve found them.
