I just found a Cingular branded Treo 680 on my front porch (It’s 11pm here). I had been expecting one to be delivered all day, but the FedEx person never arrived. Or so I thought… Evidently they did at one point during the afternoon / evening and didn’t bother to ring the doorbell. Grrrr. Anyway,
A good flashlight for the ordinary person is like most tools, only appreciated when needed. If you’re anything like me, you probably don’t use a flashlight every day. Or even once a week. But when the need arrises, you’re always happy to have a reliable one at hand. I’m happy to tell you about the TM-303X; a small robust little light from Nuwai, which is available in Black and Titanium finishes.

When I reviewed PLANon’s DocuPen R700 portable scanner almost one year ago, I immediately realized how handy this device could be to a wide variety of people. Having a full page scanner that can easily stow in a gear bag was quite liberating. The only problem with the R700, was the fact that it scanned only in Black and White, and didn’t really do that great of a job. Luckily, PLANon, didn’t stop with the R700. They now have the RC800, which can scan in full 24bit color.

There seem to be a blue million different earbuds, earphones, and headphones on the market these days. There are full sized phones that cover your ears, headphones that wrap behind your head, earbuds that fit outside the ear canal and ones that fit down inside your ear canal to isolate you from outside noises and distractions. This last style is one that I’ll be looking at today. The V-Moda Bass Fréq earbuds boost that they deliver superior bass response for a price that won’t make you cringe.

One of my favorite computer games that I had on my Commodore 64 was called Little Computer People by Activision. Think of it as The SIMs, but just with one person and really really simple. Back in the day it was a lot of fun to just watch the little person walking around his house doing all sorts of activities. That game was on the market about 20 years ago. These days you don’t need a computer to have your own little computer person on your desk. You just need a cube.
Flash card readers come in a huge variety of shapes, sizes and colors. Today I’m going to tell you about the 51 in 1 USB Slim Card Reader that was sent to me by Brando. The ability to read 51 different card formats really sounds impressive doesn’t it? Well, things are not always what they appear to be…

Although I have had a Microsoft PocketPC since my Phillips Nino

PocketPC side of things and thought I’d toy with the Phone side
when I had the time but that didn’t last long…say two days!

I returned the Zune and Everex laptop to Walmart today. It’s been awhile since I’d purchased electronics from them and had to return something, so I wasn’t too surprised when they had to call up someone from that department to come to the service area to check things out. I figured it was for the

Well, it appears that my Zune has a defect. I set it up this morning and copied over about 20-30 folders full of .MP3 files. Syncing appeared to work as expected (although a bit slow), but when I went to listen to the music in my car at lunch, all the songs skipped like they

I went ahead and picked up a Zune last night along with a cheapo Everex laptop at my good old Super Walmart store. I opted for the White version because to me the Black one is boring and the Brown one looks… well… I’m not going to say it… ;o) So far I’ve only managed
