10. This titanium multi-tool is so cool that I want one for my EDC collection

This titanium multi-tool is so cool that I want one for my EDC collection

I really need to get one of these and do a proper review. I can see myself using this tool quite often and I really like that it can hold 4 bits right in the handle, so you don’t have to search for them in a different container.
Where to buy: $33.99 on Amazon.

9. The Pathfinder+ is the ultimate multitool for adventures and EDC

The Pathfinder+ is the ultimate multitool for adventures and EDC

Seeing how popular the post was about this little knife makes me want to do a round-up review of small utility knives. I still use a mini Craftsman utility-knife that I’ve had for years, but I’ve been thinking of changing to one that uses small Xacto-style blades. Is anyone interested in a round-up post like that?

8. Get a powerful, but tiny Lenovo ThinkCentre computer now for under $200

Get a powerful, but tiny Lenovo ThinkCentre computer now for under $200

This one was controversial because it was a deal post about an older mini PC from Lenovo. A lot of people were mad that we posted about it because it was for older hardware. But I think that it just goes to show how popular mini PCs were this year. We reviewed 17 of them this year! You can check out our mini PC reviews.

7. EDC Monster multi-tool pry bar review – A handful of titanium tools By Kenneth Woodham

EDC Monster multi-tool pry bar review – A handful of titanium tools

Finally, a review makes the top 10! I was getting a little concerned that all the popular posts for the year would be news-style posts and not reviews. Not that there’s anything wrong with news posts… Are you sensing a trend yet? Yes, this was the year for EDC-related content, and boy do you guys like EDC gear. I get it because I like it too! Especially cool multi-tools like this one.
Where to buy: $139 from Indiegogo Indemand

6. Leatherman ARC multi-tool review – Leatherman’s newest multi-tool is out!

by Julie Strietelmeier

Leatherman ARC multi-tool review – Leatherman’s newest multi-tool is out!

This is my favorite multi-tool of 2023, and it’s also my all-time favorite Leatherman full-sized multi-tool (I still love my little Leatherman Squirt ES4 a little more though). I use this tool several times a week. This review and the YouTube unboxing video surprised me with how popular it was. One of my favorite things about this multi-tool is how easy it is to unfold compared to other full-sized leatherman tools.

5. Here’s the most unique guitar accessory that you’ve ever seen!

by Julie Strietelmeier

Here’s the most unique guitar accessory that you’ve ever seen!

This one was interesting, and it’s not even an EDC multi-tool! I plan to make 2024 my year to get back into playing music, so this gadget makes me want to start searching for even more music related gear and gadgets.

4. Is this wearable multi-tool an EDC nerd’s holy grail?

by Julie Strietelmeier

Is this wearable multi-tool an EDC nerd’s holy grail?

Another multi-tool. Surprised? I’m not. People might get annoyed with these so-called multi-tools because most of them are more of a novelty than real tools. But that doesn’t keep people from wanting to read more about them, and that’s why I continue to write about them. I find them interesting and you all obviously do too!

3. The WonderCube Pro is the EDC phone accessory you absolutely need for under $40

by Jennifer Kanzler

The WonderCube Pro is the EDC phone accessory you absolutely need for under $40

Here’s another EDC item, but this time it’s a tech EDC multi-tool instead of a survival type of multi-tool. I’ve not had the chance to try one myself, so I don’t know how useful they are. I am currently working on a project to create my own EDC tech tool kit. I plan to unveil it on my YouTube channel in a few weeks, so if that is something that sounds interesting to you, consider subscribing so you will know when I post that video.

2. Another company has been watching you in your bedroom

by James Garris

Another company has been watching you in your bedroom

James became interested in gadget security topics, and it looks like many others are interested, too, since this was the 2nd most-read article on the site in 2023 with over 157,000 views. Would you all like to see more of this style of article in 2024?

1. Think you’re unique? Find out with HowManyOfMe.com

by Garry Kolb

Think you’re unique? Find out with HowManyOfMe.com

This is the most-read article on The Gadgeteer for 2023. The crazy thing is that Garry wrote this article back in 2021 AND the site HowManyOfMe.com isn’t even a site anymore! With over 234,000 views this year (115 views today!), it keeps getting traffic for some weird and unexplainable reason. I guess it just goes to show that people want to know more about themselves.

Thanks to all our loyal readers who continue to visit The Gadgeteer daily and those who subscribe to the newsletter! I wish everyone a very Happy New Year. I can’t wait to see what 2024 has to bring when it comes to gadgets, tech, and gear. Will EDC-related content still be popular, or will another category take over? Time will tell. -Julie
