The Credit Card knife from Cool Material isn’t as thin as a credit card, but it does have similarly sized dimensions. It’s made of titanium and can fold up to keep it a compact 2.75 inches long. It’s priced at $29.95. It doesn’t look very comfortable to hold and use with the wide handle, but I’ll give it points for its eye catching design.

i think this type of blade folding is very dangerous: you have half of the blade unprotected. don’t want such thing in my pocket. even with sexy design…
I had a little Gerber that I used as a money clip for years, and it had a very similar design. I never had a problem with it.
@Dmitriy usually knives of this design are chisel ground meaning that only one side is sharpened. So what that means is that when the knife is closed the blade edge is flat against the handle and is safe. There are several knives from different companies out there using this design and I have never heard of any issues.
For me the main issue is the locking mechanism, it is a liner-lock. Being left-handed I’ve found knives with liner-locks are made more for right-handers. Also this type of knife tends to be kinda gimmicky to me.

Btw as an alternative if anyone likes this sort of thing I have seen what basically amounts to a titanium credit card, sharpened on one side. Not sure who makes them anymore, but I’m sure a search on google might turn up something. I found titanium chopsticks on a search so who knows.
This knife is actually produced by Boker(sorry Julie, wasn’t sure if you were saying it’s sold by or made by Coolmaterials) I had one of these, the eye catching design sucked me in, but the hinge mechanism(it’s almost as low grade as a sweat shirt pull string gromit)failed. I got lucky as it broke/fell apart when I was opening it, but that could be nightmarish if it happened to come apart in your pant pocket(razor sharp piece of metal sliding around freely is never a good idea.-DeanS you nailed it, this knife is a single bevel edged blade. The cutting edge is kept flush against the liner/handle when not deployed)

@Dave that’s a scary experience, I think it would have been equally bad if it fail during use. Looking at it more the hinge pin really looks weak, considering how wide the blade is and where it’s positioned.
I like a good old fashioned pocket knife myself I usually have a med. Spyderco Byrd lockback and/or a whittling knife on me.
Here’s another credit card knife, very sexy don’t know how good it is. Pretty is as pretty does.
