A few months ago, I reviewed the very good Focal Spirit Classic and even better Spirit Pro headphones. Focal he now released a newer – and less expensive – version of the original portable Spirit One headphone, the Spirit One S. The Spirit One S – which will replace the Spirit One – is more tuned for noisy environments with reinforced bass and comes with full-size over-ear cups for better noise isolation. Focal states they also improved the mid-range and treble response by using lessons learned from their Spirit Classic and Pro models. The Spirit One S features 40mm hybrid Mylar/Titanium speaker drivers, detachable cable, universal smartphone remote with built-in mic, 6.35mm/3.5mm adaptor, airline connector, carrying bag as well as a rigid case.
