It will take a special, ultra-determined, and skillful pickpocket to snag your phone or passport while they are stored in these SCOTTeVEST Travel Boxers.  The underwear is made of a nylon/lycra blend with Aegis Microbe Shield, an “antimicrobial treatment that inhibits the growth of microbes, such as bacteria, mold, and mildew that can cause stains, odors, and deterioration of a product.”  In addition to being cool and comfortable, the Travel Boxers have two pockets – right front and rear left – to hold a phone and a passport, respectively.  (Click the image for a bigger view.)  They have a buttonfly front, and SCOTTeVEST even says you could wear them as shorts in a pinch.  The Travel Boxers are available in black and gray.  They are normally $20 a pair, but you can get them at a 40% discount if you place your order at SCOTTeVEST before October 30 and use the promo code BESTBOXERS at checkout.  (No returns on this product, even if they are unopened.)

  2. Hmmm. Something just not right about this product IMO. I’ll keep my phone in my front jeans pocket and my passport can stay in the hotel safe! I only walk around with a photocopy when I am overseas, which is often.

  3. Be careful with SCOTTeVEST products! They’re addictive. I started with the QuestVest, added the Alpha jacket, t-shirts and tec-shirts and just got my hoodie. They’re amazing…

  4. @Ye Fine, then carry the rubies and emeralds in one pocket and the microSD card full of top secret information in the other pocket!

Seriously, you can only leave your passport in the hotel safe while you’re settled into a location for a while. These boxers would protect your valuables while you are in transit.

Isn’t this the general Idea of boxers to begin with? 😀

  6. I hope you don’t have to hike anywhere in a warm climate with your passport in that pocket. Turns out the ink is water (and therefore sweat) soluble. And the pocket isn’t billed as waterproof, so… soggy passport ahoy!

  7. @Peter… it only gets better. I believe I have everything in the Scottevest lineup, all colors. If you are OCD about where gadgets go, the layout is similar throughout the lineup. I can vouch for the boxers being used as shorts in a pinch. In case anyone is wondering… iphone 6 plus fits!

  8. So how do you access these pockets when you are wearing trouser over the top? Do you have to unbutton your trousers??? When the phone rings do I have to fumble around in my underwear while I am being stared at by police officers at the airport? Nah. It’s just trying to create a demand that isnt there and I dont think it ever will be. A better idea would be some kind of zippered jacket inner pocket with a securing mechanism for valuables like phones and passports…but not boxers!

  9. As a California bachelor, when I’m home I usually live in my boxers, nothing else.
I think this item might work better for carrying my phone than a lanyard around my neck.
    I just ordered 2 pair.

  10. @Ye… I think the point is to put the phone in the boxers when you are traveling or fear that it will get stolen. If traveling at the airport, get one of the vests or jackets Scottevest carries. I stick all of my electronics in it to pass through security. In normal everyday situations, I do use the phone pocket on the boxers when I get up in the morning and before I put on pants. @Cisco, I’m not a bachelor and I still walk around in boxers.
