Here’s another one for my wallet freak friends. The Minimalist wallet by CAPSULE is a Kickstarter project that has already met their funding goal of $16,500. The wallet is made of Black napa leather and features two card compartments and a separate cash storage area. An easily accessible front card slot has been designed to hold 1 to 2 of your most used cards, while a larger compartment holds 2-4 additional cards. On the opposite side is a leather cash strap that can hold from 1 up to even 20 folded bills. It’s been designed for US currency, but if you don’t mind folding more than once, you can use this wallet to hold international bills too. A pledge of $45 will order a Minimalist wallet with an estimated delivery by December, just in time for the holidays.

Hey Julie,

I also have a wallet collection/obsession and have enjoyed your many posts over the years. This is the first Kickstarter project that will get some of my money. The irony of pledging money for a money holder….LOL.

Thanks for the years of gadget reviews and such. Love the site.

@Adrienne ha, you have a point about spending money to store money. ;) I hope it turns out to be great wallet. I like how he made that 2nd video that answered people’s questions.

This seems like a great DIY project as well…for those who can sew!

i wonder if over time, the money band will naturally stretch and will not be able to hold your bills tightly….

Stop feeding my habit! Arggh!

Now, I’d like something just like that but to hold two more things: coin or tokens, and a small pen.
