logitech samsung keyboard

Back in February, I reviewed the ZAGGmate iPad Keyboard Case and now there’s a version available from Logitech for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. This case / keyboard combo snaps over the tablet when not in use and doubles as a stand and Bluetooth keyboard when you need to type on the go. Shortcut keys provide quick access to common commands like cut, paste, return to home screen and more. Typing via a tablet’s onscreen keyboard isn’t a horrible experience, but typing with a physical keyboard is always going to be faster for a touch typist like myself. The Logitech Keyboard Case for Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is available for preorder $99.99

    1. @mobility update it’s not that I “like” using a keyboard with a tablet…. Heck, I rarely do. But I want the option to use one if I so desire.

  2. I want to second Julie on this. It’s not like you want a keyboard for your tablet, because 90% of the time, you don’t care about the keyboard. But when you do care, you’re already in the middle of something on your tablet anyways, so it’s easier to grab the external keyboard, rather than booting up your desktop/laptop.

  3. I want to second the second for Julie by thsu! 🙂 I also have used the version for the iPad 2 and found it useful but it did take a little while to get use to the smaller spacing of the keys compared to a full size version. The one thing the Galaxy Tab 10.1 doesn’t have like the iPad 2 is the magnetic auto sleep mode trigger from a cover with its’ associated magnet. BTW, that is about the ONLY thing I found on the iPad 2 that was better than the Galaxy Tab 10.1 😉
