When I reviewed the iPad 2, I joked that it had so many magnets I thought I could use it to hold notes on my fridge. The folks at Woodford Design turned the iPad into a actual fridge magnet. The FridgePad mounts your iPad to your fridge so it’s easily accessible to everyone in the family. I think it would also work great attached to one of those tall metal filing cabinets beside your desk. The FridgePad holds your iPad with four corner mounts. You can convert it to work with iPad 2 by replacing those corner mounts with a soon-to-be-available upgrade kit (free to all FridgePad owners). The FridgePad is available in silver, white, black, cream, or red for £34.99 (about $57.21). Don’t despair if you don’t live in the UK – Woodford Design will ship worldwide.

Cool! Just hope it doesn’t drop on the kitchen floor!
First thing I think about looking at that is “Etch-a-sketch(tm)”
I would consider this with one of the inexpensive Android tablets. >$200. They have such great voice recognition it might make for a very nice family message center.
@Andrew Baker If you think the FridgePad looks like an Etch-a-sketch, you should take a look at this case!
@Janet, did you every buy the Etch-a-sketch case?
@Bob, no I never got one. It’s so cute, but I was afraid it would be heavy and hard to hold.
@Janet the iPad is slippery enough all by itself.
It sure is, Bob! That’s why I liked the Belkin Grip Vue so much – it was grippy!
