The IRS has released a free app for Apple and Android devices that allow you to track the status of your tax refund.  The IRS2Go app also lets you sign up for tax tips or get the most recent IRS Twitter feed.  The app is free from the iTunes store or from the Android Marketplace.

How do we know this shared information in signing up for the app is not shared with the IRS??

@Paul What could an app possibly require that the IRS doesn’t already know? After all, you are using the IRS app to ask the IRS when to expect your IRS refund? :o )
