Plantronics CS55 Wireless Office Headset System with Lifter Review

We can all agree that gadgets can be fun and exciting, but it’s really great when a product can actually help someone work better while also being beneficial to your health. A couple months ago, a close family member was having severe neck and shoulder pain. Her one arm was even going numb. An MRI revealed that she had a ruptured disk in her neck. The solution was a surgical procedure to fuse the C5 and C6 vertebrae together with a titanium plate and several screws…

eSoft Interactive Spot! and Earth Day – Palm OS Game Review

As I was a cruzin’ for new games, I found that eSoft Interactive, the home of one of my ‘All Time Favorite’ games, Traffic Jam, had several titles I had not seen before, including the previously reviewed Traffic Jam 2. I also asked for codes for a couple of other games that looked interesting- Earth Day, and Spot!, They were kind enough to provide codes for all of them.

Buffalo MiniStation TurboUSB Portable Hard Drive Review

I have been considering upgrading my backup external hard drive for quite some time now. The difficult decision was choosing between a larger (in both physical size and capacity) 3.5 inch drive and a smaller 2.5 inch drive (that would take up less space, not need a separate power cable, and is nearly silent). After a good amount of research and tech-soul-searching, I decided on the 320gb MiniStation TurboUSB Portable hard drive by Buffalo.

Landline phones seem to be slowly going the way of the dinosaur now that people are using their mobile phones and VOIP in their place. Companies that manufacture and sell analog phones are adding new features to make their products more enticing and to bridge the analog to digital gap. The ip8300 infoPhone from Vtech is just such a product. It’s an analog phone with a twist. It connects to your Yahoo! account for instant messaging and more…

Sony Ericsson Z520a Mobile Phone Review

The Sony Ericsson Z520a is a rather simple phone by today’s standards. It doesn’t have a media player, it doesn’t have a good camera, and it doesn’t even come with any games. What it does come with is a fairly easy to use interface, a nice compact size and good battery life. About the only frill you do get is Bluetooth, which is really standard equipment on all but the absolute cheapest phones nowadays. More about all this later.

Jawbone Bluetooth Headset Review

Aliph has recently updated their very popular noise reducing Jawbone headset with a newer version that addresses some of the complaints from the original. One of the main complaints was with size. Ilium Software’s eWallet – Palm OS Utility Review

I have thought of myself as a Palm Power User since the days of my old Handspring Visor Deluxe (Ice), back when cell phones were big bricks and Windows was an unstable annoying platform. Now, I am using a Palm Centro Smartphone, cell phones are in danger of vanishing as they get smaller, and Windows…
