Apple’s App Store Downloads 25 Billion Apps

On March 5th, Apple announced the download of their 25 billionth app from the App store.  Evolving over about 4 years, the App store has  more than 550,000 apps on offer in 123 countries to more than 315 million iPhone, iPad and iPod touch users.

The 25 billionth app downloaded ?  Where’s My Water? downloaded by Chunli Fu of Qingdao, China.  As the winner, Chunli picked up a $10,000 iTunes Gift Card.
