The Breathe Sleeve from BBP Bags is a neoprene sleeve for 13″, 15″, or 17″ laptops.  The sleeves are made of 4mm-thick, 4-way stretch neoprene.  The laptop compartment closes with a zipper, and there’s a front accessories pouch, a back slip-in pouch, and even a little pouch for a USB flash drive.  What separates the Breathe Sleeve from other laptop sleeves is the BBP Breathe Technology that keeps your laptop cooler to prevent battery damage from heat.  The sleeves fit 13″, 15″, or 17″ MacBook Pros and PCs (check the website for interior dimensions to determine if your PC will fit).  The 17″ size is available only in black; the other two sizes are available in black, khaki (shown), fuchsia, and pink.  All sizes are $34.95.

One thought: It looks like they put ventilation holes on the bottom, right through a pocket. So, if you actually _use_ the pocket, all of the ventilation advantages are lost.

Wait. It’s a laptop bag. You turn off or at least suspend your laptop before you put it in the bag. Therefore, no heat is generated while the laptop is actually inside the bag. So, why the holes?

And if you actually were to force your laptop to stay turned on while inside the bag, these few holes will make no difference, your machine will be toast anyway.

I don’t get it…
