Mmmmm….kidney pie! This entry is not gadget related, and it is highly personal. But if helps one person then I won’t feel bad about having shared a bit “too much information”. So here goes… A couple of months ago I noticed a small amount of blood in my urine. This occurred on two different occasions

I should start this review with the statement that anybody who travels needs a set of noise reducing headphones. But the fact is that NR headphones shouldn’t just be used when sitting on a plane next to a frustrated parent who is holding a squalling baby. NR headphones are a great way to cut out any obnoxious background noise, they can make things quiet enough that the wearer can sleep, relax, or even work more productively in the noisiest environment.

Greetings from Nashville, Tennessee where the weather is great and the people are friendly! I’m Kerry and yes, I am a gadgeteer. My friends think because of my Asian roots that it is my cultural duty to perpetuate the Asian stereotype with gadgets in hand, which I don’t deny… just visit Las Vegas during a Consumer Electronics Show. For me it is almost like having a Roots experience. I’ve graduated from anything with a power cord attached to wireless and battery powered gadgets.

When I was a kid, I remember my Dad having this large Yellow Celestron telescope. He was very proud of that telescope and had a special foot locker that he kept it in. The thing was that I think he only actually used the scope maybe once or twice. It was difficult to find a place where lights from houses and street lamps would not ruin his star gazing attempts. One of the times that he did go out, it was in the middle of Winter. So he came back home late at night about half frozen. Hmmmm… fun. NOT! That’s why I had to think of him, when Brando asked if I was interested in reviewing the Sega Toys HomeStar planetarium.

I recently bought a Nordic Track treadmill, which I absolutely
love; not only does it have all of the expected features, it can
also accept iFit workout cards. These SD shaped cards offer
different workout programs with progressive levels of difficulty
along with the positive feedback of a trainer verbally telling me
what’s coming up, as the console displays what I have done. Largely
because of this type instant feedback, I have always preferred
walking on a treadmill to walking outdoors. But today I am going to
introduce a product that provides verbal feedback for many outdoor
activities, eliminating one of my main excuses for preferring to
exercise indoors.

Well, it looks like David Ciccone has broken the news on two USB based GSM wireless cards…now I wish I hadn’t been so hasty about buying a CF version! I am especially interested in the plug & play FALCOM SAMBA 75. His review states, “For the past few months I have had the pleasure to

The proliferation of MP3 players has led to devices of all shape, size and alternative functions. There are watches, PDA’s, cell phones, key chains, and countless other gadgets that have the ability to play music so that we can set our everyday lives to a soundtrack. One such example is the USB Sunglasses MP3 Player from Brando. That’s right, digital audio eyewear that integrates an MP3 player and earphones into the frames, eliminating wires that dangle and can tangle into a mess. Of course, the primary function of the sunglasses is to protect your eyes from the sun, but let’s focus on how well they serve as a MP3 player.

The first Lumaray flashlight I ever reviewed was last year’s FL6.
After completing that review, I fully planned on keeping the torch
and using it for many years to come…but that was not to be. I
made the mistake of showing it to my good friend Grabb, a detective
with the Tom Green County Sherriff’s Department. He convinced me
that he needed it worse than I did. The second Lumaray I reviewed
was the FL12. This flashlight had no sooner shown up at our house
than my husband Steve told me he wanted it as soon as I had
completed the review. Are you noticing a pattern here? Grrrr…

Hi all! We just returned from a week in chilly San Francisco, Carmel and Monterey! We left the 100º weather in Texas and nearly froze in the California…it just didn’t seem natural for it to be so chilly in what are typically the dog days of summer! When we stepped off the plane tonight to
