Avallone says their sophisticated City Messenger bags are for men, but I don’t see why women wouldn’t like them, too. These bags are certainly not the distressed leather bags often marketed for men. They are made of Italian Nappa leather with cow suede accents and silver-colored metal hardware. The bag measures 13.5″ X 10″ X 3.5″ and weighs 2.5 pounds. It has a metal tuck-lock front closure; there are no external pockets to interrupt the sleek lines of the bag. Inside is a zippered pocket and two large multipurpose pockets. The shoulder strap adjusts from 41-52 inches, so it could be worn as a shoulder bag or a cross-body bag. The City Messenger is available for $368 in black (as shown) or brown. They also offer other business bags, travel bags, and small leather goods.
