KudoCase Solar Charges Your iPad with Green Power

More solar solutions with the Solar KudoCase for the iPad 1, 2 and 3 but with a few extras this time.  While most solar iPad cases only charge your iPad, the KudoCase also has an extended 10A battery and  includes a USB outlet, HDMI port and whistle locator.  The indoor/outdoor solar panel  gives up to an additional 10 days of use based on 2 hours use per day with average light. The case allows multiple viewing angles and is  7/8″ thick and while the extended battery must add some weight,  I can’t find the exact weight on the site.

Keeping with the green solar theme, the case uses organic solar panels, the housing is made of biodegradable grain, and for each unit sold online KudoCase will plant a tree via the Arbor Day Foundation.

Available in black, grey, pink, green and  blue for $199.95 from Kudocase.

I have one & love it! light & the battery life make it worth the $$$. As a teacher with the Kudo I can use my iPad all day with no worries…. Sometimes it’s more like all week!

So if you charge the huge battery via USB, connect it to your iPad, and charge as you go, you can only go for 10 days? Does that mean the solar panel is not big enough to fully charge the huge battery? Otherwise you would be able to use it until the Sun went kaput.

The units of the battery capacity don’t make sense either, but that is the vendor’s documentation issue.

It really is a great product. The solar panel keeps it charged along with the AC out which you can plug in. I haven’t had a dead phone or iPad since I got it. The case keeps my phone charged and is also supposed to be good for the environment. I bought mine about a week ago since they are having a bunch of deals associated with the tv promotion.
