Just released by WordPress, version 2.0 for Android is a major overhaul from the previous version (1.5). With its new one touch dashboard, rich text formatting bar, enhanced media support including image alignment and sizing, and better tablet support, blogging on the go becomes much more viable.

Previously creating and formatting posts was messy, especially placement of images.  To do a Gadgeteer post, I would have had to use a combination of the WordPress app, WordPress Mobile website, and WordPress on my notebook. This post has been written (literally as I’m actually writing this with my Lenovo Tablet and stylus) entirely in the app with only minor notebook intervention. :)

Available now from the Android Market

I tested the app & I’m not that much comfortable working from mobile.I think the app will be suitable for Comment Management & basic blogging

It really is good on a 10.1″ tablet now. Much easier to lay things out and manipulate graphics than the old version.

Just compared it to the iOS version. Seems to have a bit more integration. I think I like how you can easily click through to the actual website, since that functions well on mobile devices anyways. Even for non-bloggers… the ability to easily view and control major portions of your site from a native mobile app is just awesome.
