If you still haven’t been able to find an iPad 2 in stock in your area, this iPhone app may be able to help you.  FindOne, available in the iTunes app store, uses your entered zip code to set up a search area, then it queries nearby superstore’s databases to find inventory.  You can specify AT&T/Verizon,/Wi-Fi only, capacity, and color, or leave all options open and see all the inventory in your local stores.  The FindOne app is free.

You are waiting anyway…why not just order it online. Order direct from apple instead of running around is really the best approach…you get free engraving and a real delivery date.

In our case, it actually came 10 days early.
