I am a husband, father, and scouter. As the son of a farm-boy turned professional engineer and a chemical laboratory technician, I was thrust into the world of gadgets at an early age. I am biomedical engineer and a health informaticist specializing in data and information modeling, clinical decision support, and information quality. I am a life-long maker, a aficionado of 24-hour timepieces, a collector of pre-Golden Age and Golden Age science fiction, and a proud adult LEGO enthusiast.
