NEWS – Wyze is well known for their easy to use and affordable Wyze Cam security cameras and their Wyze Sense sensors which I personally recommend and use in my own home. Today they have announced two new products to their line up and they are not what you might guess them to be. Instead of my smartphone gear, Wyze has just added two smart fitness devices to their product line.

First up is the Wyze Band, a wearable fitness tracker/smart watch that tracks your steps, heart rate, and sleep.

The watch features an AMOLED color display, customizable watch faces and extra features that give it smartwatch functionality. The Band will show your appointments, and incoming calls and that’s not where the smart features end. The Wyze Band has Alexa built-in so you can control your other smart Wyze devices as well as 1000’s of other devices all from your wrist.

It’s also has a 5ATM rating which means that you can submerge it up to 50m for 10 minutes. But wait, there’s more… It has a 10-day battery life, and if that wasn’t enough for your go reaching for your wallet, it’s only $24.99!

The Wyze Band is available today for early access (ordering) through the Wyze app and will be available for regular online ordering through Wyze and Amazon in April.

The second new product that Wyze has announced today is the Wyze Scale. And just like the Band, this product has all the bells and whistles that you could want from a smart body composition scale, but without the price tag.

The Wyze Scale measures your weight (duh!), body fat, lean body mass, heart rate, and 8 other metrics that will help you keep a handle on your weight and health. It can be used with up to 8 users and the data can be shared with Google Fit, Apple Health, Samsung Health, and FitBit. You won’t believe the price. It’s just $19.99. Like the Wyze Band, the Wyze Scale is available today for early access (ordering) through the Wyze app and will be available for regular online ordering through Wyze and Amazon in April.

  2. As an owner of 2 Wyze Pan Cams and 2 -expensive- Samsung smart watches, I am SO glad to see the downward price pressure Wyze brings to the market, while making excellent quality equipment. I bet these devices are good stuff.

I’m a big Wyze fanboy! I have 2 pan cameras, the sensor kit, wifi plugs and lightbulbs. My Christmas gifts to friends a family this year was Wyze Cameras. Keep on innovating!
