The Nest Cam is one of my all time favorite home security cameras. But the one thing I don’t like about them is the long power cord and AC adapter that’s required to use them. There has to be a better solution that makes installation easier and nicer looking right? Right! Check out the Wall Mount for Nest Cam from Wasserstein.
What is it?
The Wasserstein Nest Cam Wall Mount is a plastic bracket that holds the Nest Cam camera and an AC adapter to create a minimalist wall mount solution.

Design and features
The wall mount is made of light weight plastic and comes in black and white versions. It has a holder that the Nest Cam camera snaps into.
And a holder for the small AC adapter that is included with the wall mount.
To use the wall mount, you just pop the Nest Cam or Dropcam camera module out of the metal stand that came with the camera.
Then you snap the camera into the holder in the Wasserstein wall mount.
The AC adapter included with the wall mount slides into the square holder in the wall mount and the included micro USB cable plugs into the AC adapter and into the power port on the Nest Cam camera.
All that is left to do is to plug the assembly into a wall outlet. Once you do that you can also rotate the mount to adjust the camera’s view. You now have an easy to move camera that has a nicer looking installation than originally offered with the Nest Cam.
Of course, you’ll need a wall outlet located in areas where you want to mount the Nest Cam. It also helps to have a wall outlet located higher up on a wall if you want a raised view instead of a floor level view.
That said, I didn’t have a problem with mounting it on a floor level wall outlet. The 130-degree wide-angle lens of the Nest Cam provides a view of my entire basement living room when mounted this way.
The Wasserstein Nest Cam Wall Mount requires no tools to install and it is easy to use. It also doesn’t cost very much, so it’s a nice alternative way to mount Nest Cams. It gets an enthusiastic thumbs up from me.
