Recently at CES 2016 in Las Vegas, EZVIZ the company who makes the Ezviz 720p Indoor Mini Wi-Fi Camera that I reviewed a few months ago, launched several more home WiFi security cameras to add to their product line up. The new EZVIZ Mini+ features 1080p HD resolution and 2-way audio which the Mini didn’t offer. Users can now have a dialogue with their loved ones who are in front of camera. Two-way audio also acts as an additional security feature, allowing  users to ward off an intruder by telling them that the authorities are on the way. Like the EZVIZ Mini, the new Mini+ also has a built-in microSD card slot. The maximum memory capacity has been upgraded to support cards of up to 128GB, which is an improvement from the 64BG max capacity of the Mini. The EZVIZ Mini+ will be priced at $89.99. ezviz-miniiq

Next in the line-up is the Mini IQ which supports Z-wave technology, that allows it to communicate with smart home products like locks, lights and thermostats. Starting at $139.99, the Mini IQ also features 1080p HD resolution and 2-way audio. Additional features include a 140° wide viewing angle with distortion correction, ambient temperature, humidity sensors, and DC / battery power options.

You won’t have to worry about security even when the power goes out. When the EZVIZ Mini IQ is not plugged in or if there is a power outage, the camera will go into power saving mode and turn off to minimize battery usage. Even in this lower power mode, it will fully wake up within 600 milliseconds when its passive infrared sensor (PIR) detects motion.

Where most of the consumer camera brands focus on indoor usage, EZVIZ realizes that outdoor surveillance matters too and will be offering the Mini Cube, an outdoor WiFi camera that features 1080p HD resolution, local storage options and the ability to operates on either DC or battery power. This camera features PIR (passive infrared sensors) to prevent the unit from using all of its juice before motion is detected. Prices for the Cube will start at $109.99.

The launch date for these new cameras has yet to be announced, but you can currently find the EZVIZ Mini model on Amazon. To get more info about EZVIZ and their new cameras, visit them at www.ezvizlife.com.
