The Léaf Opener is a Kickstarter project currently seeking $3800 funding. It’s a minimalist multi-tool that has been laser cut from solid sheets of stainless steel, and will feature 3 functions: box opener, bottle cap lifter and 1/4in hex tool bit holder. The edges are dull and not sharp, so you don’t have to worry that you’ll slice your hand using this tool. The project is already over halfway funded, with 54 days to go. A minimum pledge of $15 will get you a stainless steel version of the Léaf Opener. $20 and $40 pledges will pre-order brass and titanium versions respectively. The product will ship in August if fully funded.
