If you’ve been considering the purchase of a stand for your iPad, I have one that is both gorgeous and functional. It is handmade made by Scott A. Snyder, a furniture maker who has been designing and constructing custom furniture for over 20 years.
He offers two different styles. With one of them being offered in two different wood choices. Scott sent me his #266 iPad Stand, which is constructed of Tiger Maple and Jatoba.
Tiger Maple is the lighter colored wood with what some people call a curly pattern. I call it gorgeous.
The stand looks like a piece of fine furniture and has a sturdy construction.
All edges are smooth, with no splinters or any type of defects.
The iPad can be placed in the stand in either portrait or…
landscape orientations.
Although the angle can not be adjusted with this stand, it’s at the perfect angle for viewing the display. The angle isn’t optimal for using the on-screen keyboard though.
I found that it’s easy to pick up the iPad and the stand at the same time, but using the support bar on the back of the stand.
The stand is perfect if you like to use your iPad as a digital picture frame. It would also work great in the kitchen to display recipes while you cook. The sheer beauty of this wooden stand really makes it stand out in my opinion and the price is extremely affordable for something as nice as this.

I got one of these and love it! It’s beautiful, functional, and a very nice compliment to the aluminum, industrial look of the iPad.
