I shipped the OQO 01+ back to Dynamism yesterday. Now I’m completely Microsoft free at home and it’s making me a little nervous. I need to get an inexpensive laptop for product review purposes. Maybe something from Averatec, Dell or HP. I don’t want to send a lot of cash, since it’s not going to see a lot of use.
I’m also interested in getting a good video camera since I think I’m going to keep making those “See it in action” spots in my reviews. This is an area where I’m completely clueless. My brief googling sessions for advice haven’t been all that helpful. Anyone out there that might be able to steer me in the right direction? An HD camera seems like overkill, but at the same time, I hate the fuzzy picture of the videos I’m doing now. I want something sharp but at the same time I can’t have huge file downloads. Hmmmmmm….
