If you’re tired of flimsy Apple iOS cables that tend to break at the connectors, check out these Wrapped Cables from Eastern Collective.  These cloth-wrapped cables have a USB connector on one end and a 30-pin connector on the other, and they work with iPhones, iPods, and iPads.  They are available in three designs (Cross Stripe Collective design is shown), and most designs have a couple of color choices, too.  The cables should be in stock in mid-September.  They’re $14 each – cheaper than Apple’s own replacement cable.  You can even sign up at the Eastern Collective website to be notified when the cables are in stock.

I ordered three of them and only got two. No response back from them despite having paid for 3…. anyway, the two cables I did receive are great. They feel/look good and simply work. I have a couple really cheap iPhone cables from Monoprice which don’t work….
