Connect the Co-Star from Vizio between your cable box and  your HDTV, and you’ll add all the smart features of Google TV.  In addition to watching live TV, you’ll have access to streaming content from providers like Netflix, Amazon Instant Video, Google Play, iHeartRadio, and other providers.  You’ll be able to search the internet with Google Chrome, and you’ll have access to thousands of apps.  Co-Star delivers 1080p video and can even support 3D.  You can connect to the Co-Star via WiFi, USB, and Bluetooth, or through DLNA-enabled mobile phones, tablets, and PCs.  It comes with a double-sided universal remote control with a QWERTY keyboard and a touchpad; you can also control the Co-Star with a phone or tablet app.  The Co-Star is available only at Vizio online for $99.99.  Sign up at Vizio to be notified when it’s available.

    I prefer Roku compared to the Google one. It has more video contents.

    Thanks for the heads-up on this device! I own a Vizio widescreen TV and have never had a problem with it so I hurried to the website and signed up to be notified when this gadget arrives on the market. It sounds really great and I’d be happy to pay $100 for all of these features.

    I was looking for such device for a long time… having the ability to skype to my kids TV while they are watching the cables can convince me to buy this one :-)
