Need some cloud storage? Feel left out after Box’s iOS free 50GB offer? Box is now offering 50GB of free space to all Android users. Just login to Box from the newly updated Android app before Friday, March 23, 2012 at 11:59pm PST and the space is yours. Normally a 50GB Box account would cost you $19.99 per month. File transfer limit has also been upgraded to 100MB.
Box is great for cloud storage, but be aware there’s no file synchronisation capability, and it’s impossible to upload folders, only individual files (either via the app or web client). But let’s be honest, 50GB of free cloud storage certainly can’t go astray. 🙂

Didn’t work for me…
Worked for me. Thanks. Who can’t use more cloud storage! 🙂
Update: it didn’t work because I already had 50GB and thought that the offer was an additional 50GB. I see now that personal accounts are limited to 50GB anyway.
Actually if you set it up as a networked drive you can then copy folders to your account and also access it like a normal drive to save and open files
50 GB of free cloud storage? Is this offer only for a limited time, or do you get 50 GB permanently if you registered before the 23th of march?
@Rasmus – the offer was until 23 March and was for a permanent 50GB..
Here’s the status of their promotions
Well, guess I came too late then, but thank you for the FAQ
