Spy Camera in a Chewing Gum Pack

Here’s another camera for your espionage games or nanny surveillance.  This HC-GUM Covert Gum Stick Camera/DVR from Smarthome looks like an old-style pack of Wrigley’s Doublemint gum – if you don’t look too closely.  (They have the look right, but for some reason it’s marked with “Dangerous Material” and described as a lighter.)  It takes still shots with a resolution up to 1280 x 960 and video up to a 720 x 480 resolution on a miniSD card (up to 16GB, not included).  The camera has an internal 300mAh battery that recharges via USB and gives you up to 90 minutes of recording time.  It can even be set to record only when it senses motion to save battery.  The HC-GUM Covert Gum Stick Camera/DVR is currently marked down to $83.13.

I don”t think a spy cam in a pack of gum is really a good idea. I know quite a few people who see a pack of gum pick it up and take a piece. Just saying.

Unless you have a very good reason, spying on people is not acceptable and possibly illegal…

Not to be a crazy stickler or anything, but it’s also a Wrigley’s Doublemint gum look-a-like pack, rather than spearmint.

@Deni Tako You’re absolutely right! It’s been a long time since I regularly chewed gum and I’ve forgotten what the packs look like. I fixed it in the post. Thanks.
