A new tech-oriented backpack from Mission Workshop

With innovative, modern designs and bomb-proof construction, Mission workshop gets a lot of well-deserved love from cyclists and bag enthusiasts around the world. While most of their designs are geared (pardon the pun) towards multi-purpose use, I’m particularly excited about their newest release because it’s designed specifically for the tech-heavy user.

WaterField Designs Bolt backpack review

Invisible zippers. That’s what initially struck me when I first saw the new Waterfield Designs Bolt Backpack. When I unpacked and inspected it, I couldn’t find the zippers. Only when I noticed the leather zipper pulls, did I see how ingenious the disappearing zippers are. It’s really cool. But that’s not the only cool thing …

booq Boa Flow Graphite review

Back in 2010, I reviewed the booq Boa Flow M backpack after decades of carrying a messenger type bag. Since then, I regularly use the Boa Flow M when I need to carry a majority of my tech/travel gear or am going out into the damp Seattle weather. I am surprised by just how much I like and …

Phorce Pro is a 3 way convertible bag that holds and charges your gear

The Phorce Pro is a briefcase that converts into a backpack or messenger bag. That in itself is not unique; we’ve seen numerous bags that have this ability to convert from one form to another. There are a lot of laptop bags and packs out there, but not all of them can effectively organize and carry lots of gear in a streamlined, compact package.  As a long-time messenger bag user, I’ve not had much interest in backpacks until my business travel picked back up this past year, and lugging a …

Altego 17″ Polygon Sunfire Backpack review

A laptop backpack is a laptop backpack is a laptop backpack, right? So, how do you distinguish yourself from the pack?
