REVIEW – I never thought about laundry hampers. We just used a dollar store plastic basket in the hallway that we’d hide whenever company came over. Today, I don’t have to hide the good-looking Brabantia Bo Hamper Hi. Let’s air the dirty laundry.

Assembly, Installation, Setup
The first order of business was to assemble the legs. The round foot that touches the ground screws into one end, and the other end presses into the bottom of the hamper.
The laundry sack itself features a grippy hem that secures itself with hook and loop fastener. Once in place, it’s not moving.
A plastic rod slides at the top of the fabric divider, creating two 45L (11.9 gal) compartments. The sack is washable, but the rod should be removed before doing so.
The top has a party trick: The tabbed opening allows the top to be propped upright for unrestricted access.
I measured the hamper, fully assembled. I measured 31-3/8″ tall, 12-5/16″ front to back, and 21-7/16″ side to side. The bottom of the hamper stands about 6-3/16″ off the ground.
Performance
Not much to it: You remove the top, unwrap the hook and loop fastener on the grippy belt, and pull the sack out. Unless you’re washing the sack, you can leave the dividing rod in place.
I did not know this at first, but the exterior is actually metal, not cheaper plastic. The hole pattern at the bottom is supposed to let your stinky socks “breathe”.
Final thoughts
I never thought I’d want to do something about my laundry routine, but the Brabantia Bo Laundry Hamper saves me from hiding an ugly plastic basket. I like how it looks in my hallway.

For that price, I thought for sure it would have Wifi access for some reason that I couldn’t fathom. Who in the world would pay that for a laundry basket?!?
