REVIEW – These days, most modern vehicles include features like a decent-sized display screen and if purchased with additional features, the inclusion of Carplay. In my household, one of the vehicles is a 2014 Subaru Impreza that did not come with any such feature. However, the driver of the car needs navigation and really like additional bells and whistles. This SJoyBring JOY-7082 2.5K Dash Cam should provide exactly what is needed.

The SJoyBring JOY-7082 is a 2.5K dash cam that includes Carplay and Android Auto. It features a 1024 x 600 FHD display, a 2-channel camera interface, touch control, Bluetooth, WiFi, TF card recording, and more.

Design and features
The SJoyBring JOY-7082 2.5K Dash Cam features a 7-inch touch display with angle adjustment, a built-in dashcam, built-in speakers, and 2 mounting options. There are the following ports at the back: USB-C, rear camera, TF Card, and an audio auxiliary port. There is a power button on one side and a reset button on the base near the speaker.
Setup
Installing and setting up the SJoyBring JOY-7082 2.5K Dash Cam smart multimedia dashboard is simple. It is almost a plug-and-play process except for the rear camera, which requires you to route the wires to the back of your vehicle. This process will differ depending on the make and model of your vehicle. The main unit can be installed on your vehicle’s dashboard or windshield, and in some cases some place below, if the design of your vehicle permits. You have the option of using the mounting bracket or the arm mount. Both are included in the package, and both click onto the bottom of the device.

Performance
The SJoyBring JOY-7082 2.5K Dash Cam installs easily and performs well. As seen in the previous video, the dashcam provides clear footage and can be controlled very easily, including the ability to manipulate the angle of the lens. The display is bright and clear, and the resolution is great. The touchscreen is very responsive, and the audio from the speakers is clear. While I could not test an Android phone, the iPhone connected easily, and all of the functions worked immediately. The ease of use can also be seen in the video. Overall, this is a very nice device.

Final thoughts
The SJoyBring JOY-7082 2.5K Dash Cam (now rebranded as PLZ Wireless Apple Car Play Radio Stereo Screen) is easy to install and works very well. The dashcam footage is clear, and all of the Carplay functions work. The backup camera is a great help, and the screen size is perfect. Nice device!!
