NEWS – Back in 2020, I posted about Gerber’s utility knife multi-tools, and now they have added another knife/basic multi-tool to their line of Prybrid utility knives. At first glance, the new Gerber Prybrid Utility Clip looks exactly like their existing Prybrid knife. It features a utility blade, cord cut notch, bottle opener, pry bar, large flat head driver, small flat head driver, nail puller, and a wire stripper. But it also has a pocket clip on the back that the previous version did not include. Unlike the awesome-looking Phantom folding utility knife that I told you about yesterday, the Gerber Prybrid Utility Clip won’t set you back $129 and make you wait months before you receive it. Nope, the Gerber is only $20, and it’s shipping now! Want one? Head over to gerber.com to get one in the color shown here or two other colors.

Dang mine didn’t come with a clip.
This a new version.
I hope so. I have been a life long Gerber fan. On my side is a Magnum Folding Hunter I’ve had since 1980 of so. This Prybrid was the first ever complete disappointment. It took two hand and all my strength to open. Just junk.
Is the body plastic?
It’s glass-filled nylon.
Nylon is plastic
I have this and it took me awhile to figure it out as far as blade replacement goes. overall I like it for a utility knife I open up a lot of cardboard boxes for work and I will reach for this before using a $200+ knife it does what it is intended to do, a good knife for a low price
