Design and features
The Siri Remote for Apple TV leather cover is made of Horween leather from the USA. It has a microfiber interior lining and a hidden compartment for an Apple AirTag.
The dark brown vegetable-tanned Horween leather has a smooth matte texture and a fabulous leather smell. The leather is molded around the case with no visible seams or stitching.
I bought my first Apple AirTag to test with the Nomad Siri Remote for Apple TV leather cover. I can tell you that the AirTag fits snuggly in the slot at the bottom of the remote cover.
The Apple TV remote presses securely into the Nomad leather cover and still provides access to the Lightning port for charging…
… as well as the voice control button…
… and the IR sensor on the front end of the remote.
I was hoping that the Nomad Siri Remote for Apple TV leather cover might add some extra grip to the remote so it wouldn’t slide off the arm of my couch all the time. This cover didn’t really help with that issue, but the ability to add an AirTag will help you find the remote when it goes MIA.
Using your phone and the Find My app, it will show where the remote is located on a map (not that it will probably end up outside of your home) and more importantly, you can trigger the AirTag to beep so you can find where the remote is hiding.
Even if you don’t have an AirTag, you can still use this leather cover to fancy up your Siri Remote.

- Space for an AirTag so you can find your lost remote with an audio alert
What I’d change
- A thinner version without an AirTag slot might be nice
