Good review Julie. I want to get one to carry on my tractor as there is always some limb that wants to smack me in the head. This is a great idea. We have one of those long ones (fibreglass pole fault long ones) but we never use it because it is hard to pack around and it mostly sits in a corner of the shop and the spiders practice their webbing techniques on it.
