Author Clock – a novel way to tell time

Author Clock takes the idea of using words to display time and amps that up by presenting the time as quotes from classic novels.  Author clock claims to have a literary quote for every single minute of the day and displays that time in bold within the context of the quote from the novel.

It comes in two sizes.  The small model is perfect for desks.  The larger works well on the wall.

Both are battery-powered, so there are no pesky power cords to deal with.  With an e-ink display, battery life should be good. Charge Author Clock once every 3 weeks for the small version, or every 2 months for the large.

As of this writing, they are just shy of their $1,000,000 stretch funding goal.

If they hit that mark, they will add Wi-Fi connectivity and an automatically updated quote database as they discover more time quotes.
