Remember in the old days when you had to walk barefoot 5 miles to school in the winter and all you had to protect your smartphone’s display was a junky flimsy plastic screen protector with bubbles under it? Those days are gone forever my friends. Today people are moving to glass screen protectors, which are not only more protective, but are easier to install. Lots of companies are offering glass protectors now, but this new one from Brando Workshop is the first one I’ve seen that mentions rounded edges… The protector is made of super slim premium tempered glass with an oleophobic coating that resists fingerprints and smudges. It’s available for the iPhone 5, Samsung Galaxy S4, HTC One and the Sony Xperia Z. The rounded edged version is $27 and for $23 without the rounded edges.

    1. @Rainy Maybe it doesn’t need protection 😉 You know, I don’t “get” the whole screen protector thing anymore. I haven’t used one for years and also haven’t had a scratch on my screen in probably a decade. I don’t baby my phones either…

  2. @Julie – that was the point of devices going towards glass screens. Glass is much harder than plastic, so does not get scratched up.

I saw the point of putting a plastic screen protector on a plastic screen, but not plastic on glass.

  3. I would like to say the screen protection glass from Brando Workshop will not operate on my HTC ONE. The home button and the return button on the bottom absolutely will not work. Installation was by a technician at a company AT&T store. It totally desensitizes the bottom controls of the phone.
