Designed by Patricia Urquiola, the Coalesse Hosu is a chair suited for home or a relaxed work environment. It features a fold out cushion that allows the Hosu to transform from a traditional chair posture into a more casual lounge where you can kick your feet up. Special tech details include rear and side storage pockets for magazines, tablets or laptops. A cord pass-through allows you to route gadget cables for a neat and tidy look. The lounge will be available this fall in 5 colors and two sizes, a 36” wide one seater in fixed and convertible versions and a fixed 64” wide two seater. But here’s the kicker, the price starts at $2000. Ouch… I think I’ll stick with my non-techie dual reclining LazyBoy recliner thank you very much. I’m sitting on it right now and I’m sure it’s more butt and wallet friendly than this luxury item.

For rich Geeks anyways 😛
Real Geeks would be buying the latest gadgets with that kind of money and building their own dang chairs out of odds and ends, bits and pieces, and be proud of it even if it looked like bad steampunk http://www.designbuzz.com/entry/steampunk-professor-x-chair-has-everything-to-rock-static-lives/ 🙂
