There are a lot of wall mounts available for iPads and other tablets, but attaching them usually involves adding screw holes or other damage to the wall. The Koala Mount from Dockem uses 3M Command Strips to attach the mount, and they can be removed easily, without damage to the wall. This Kickstarter project consists of a couple of plastic mounting corners that are designed to hold the iPad at a slight slant away from the wall – just enough room to be able to insert or remove the iPad with one hand. The Koala Mount works with both versions of the iPad, and there’s even enough room for a back cover and the Smart Cover for the iPad 2. The bottom of each mount has a cord clip to keep your charging cable handy, and the kit comes with two Glow Stickers to make your cable easy to find in the dark. The Koala Mount is also a good fit for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and the Motorola Xoom, and other tablets may also fit. For a minimum pledge of $10, you’ll receive one Koala Mount. You’ll get another mount for each additional $10 you pledge, with a 10% discount starting with a $90 pledge for 10 mounts. They are still collecting funding, and shipping is expected in April 2012, if funding is met.

Since we are on the subject of kickstarter, my latest find is:

This is an automatic way to locate your car, without having to run an app or do anything special ahead of time. As far as I can tell, it’s the only fully automatic way to track the last place you parked. The only downside is that it’s iPhone 4S specific, as that’s the only phone to use the latest bluetooth 4.0 specification.
