If you could design your ultimate everyday gearbag, what would it look
like?
Think about the things that you can't live without for a moment – not the things
that you bog down with when going on a gadget excursion. My perfect bag
would need to be able to carry: up to two PDAs, my cell phone, an MP3 player, an
assortment of memory cards, a travel cord or two, and sometimes a digital camera
– along with my wallet. I have plenty of travel bags that can  accommodate
my laptop and other gadgetry goodies – but I have been looking for the
bag that I in which I would want to carry my everyday “stuff”.
Now lets take it a step further. As you all know, I like aesthetically pleasing,
well made things. I would prefer that my gear bag be disguised as a
beautiful purse. Something that I could either carry in my hand or on my arm. I
would not need to carry it on my shoulder per se, because it would not ever be
that loaded down. It would need to have multiple pockets lining each wall
and it would need a zippered middle section for small loose items. Oh, and can I
get that in chocolate brown matte alligator?
Whoa. Evidently, I can.
I have recently stumbled across the
Alexandra
Knight

Collection
, a company that creates custom alligator purses. These bags are
made to order in the
color you
want and the
style
of your choosing. The interior can be configured to meet
your
needs, and to mark the occasion of your bag's birth – a sterling silver
plaque with your name and your bag's creation date will be integrated in the bag's interior.
Wouldn't you know it? I found the
one
.
