Apple designed the MagSafe connectors to safely detach from your MacBook instead of pulling the laptop to the floor should the charging cable get yanked.  Some people feel the MagSafe connector detaches too easily, and if you are one of those people, you can use a Snuglet to keep it more firmly connected.  Snuglets are precision machined pieces of metal that fit inside the MagSafe 2 connector on all MacBook Airs or MacBook Pros with Retina display (produced after June 2012) to “increase the magnetic connection and never interfere with insertion or removal of the power cable.”  They won’t fall out, but they do come with a removal tool, should you decide to remove them or move them to a new laptop.  You get two Snuglets and one removal tool for  $19.00.
