The Bowden and Sheffield Minimalist iPad Cases are another Kickstarter project.  These cases are made from natural materials, and they are designed to be “sturdy enough to take a beating, but sleek enough for any setting.”  They’ll fit the iPad 2 or new iPad.  The Bowden is made of bead-blasted, aircraft-grade aluminum, walnut or cherry wood, and black or brown leather.  The Sheffield is made of polycarbonate, walnut or cherry wood, and 100% natural wool felt.  The felt panel on the Sheffield can even be used as a typing stand.  Pledge $100 for a Sheffield or $120 for a Bowden case.  Funding is at almost 50% with only 9 days left.
