NERF has certainly changed from the spongy footballs from when I was a kid!  Sakar International, under license from Hasbro, has just announced NERF-branded gear for kids, including night vision goggles, helmet cams, and other audio, visual, and technology merchandise.  This gear has been specifically designed and molded to look like the NERF material of today.  Whether your kids are budding movie directors or ghost hunters, you can outfit them with night vision goggles, a digital camera that can be mounted to a helmet or bike, a pocket DVR with a preview screen, or a 2.1MP or 5.1MP digital camera packaged with social media software.  Other products in the line include a 2GB PC/Mac-compatible flash drive shaped like a mini-NERF blaster, 2GB digital MP3 player, walkie-talkies with up to a 1000-ft range, and a multi-function flashlight.  Initially, these products will be available at Toys ‘R Us.  Prices will range from $19.99 to $59.99.
