If you like to take EVERYTHING with you when you enjoy the great outdoors, the VuQube Portable Satellite Antenna from SkyMall will need to be on your packing list.  The antenna is completely contained in a water-resistant enclosure.  You simply orient the VuQube so it has a clear view to the southern sky, attach your TV receiver with the included 50-ft coax cable, and lock on to a signal with the remote control.  The VuQube works with DirecTV, Dish Network, and BellTV.  It’s  $489.00 at SkyMall.

Ok, so you now have a pocket satellite, what about the decoder?

The trick now is to point it at the right satellites. Doesn’t say how you can find them.

@John Kes This is just a news item, not a review. I haven’t played with one of these, but I would imagine the documentation for the VuQube would tell you what you need to know about finding the satellites.

@John Kes: From what I can tell from the manufacturer’s site (http//kingcontrols.com/), it comes with a remote control that lets you turn and elevate the dish to point it properly. They also have more expensive models with auto-pointing, tracking while in motion, etc.
