A wallet for guitar players

orpheus-walletThe Orpheus Wallet from Braithwaite Wallets has been designed specifically with guitar players (maybe even a few ukulele players – you never know) in mind. It’s made of leather with a silk lining and can hold 6 credit cards and some cash. The exterior of the wallet has slots for 3 guitar picks, so you’ll never be caught pickless again. What do you think, cool idea, or lame?

Mildly interesting, but mostly lame. I am a guitar player, and my wallet always has picks in it. Guess what? It is a regular wallet and doesn’t cost $107. I think it was under $15 and functions quite well.

Lame. Guitar players don’t need wallets with spaces for money!

The “key holders” in some wallets work fine for holding guitar picks. And then you can have a much better wallet than this one at a much lower price.

Picks fit into all wallets… personally I don’t play with a pick, but I toss a few into each of my cases for when I’m playing with others. If I have the instrument, I have a pick… and that’s when I’d need it anyway.

So it just has a pocket on the outside? Like Andy said, I’ve always had picks on the inside. I was hoping this might be something more interesting, like you could use one edge of the wallet to play slide guitar with!

Lame … I’ve been carrying them IN my wallet at all times for years now. Never had any need to carry them on the outside of my wallet.
