This morning I got an email from Everett, one of our readers that had started
coming to The Gadgeteer after we ran the "Only In Your Dreams" PDA Contest, back
in 2001. He wanted the link to see the entries, and that prompted me to go
back and examine them again for myself.
Wow – what a simpler time. Rereading the entries it seems that the general
theme was that if we had 32MB ROM & 16MBFlash RAM, an ARM processor, a high
resolution screen, built-in wireless, and a cool PDA body then we’d have our
"Dream PDA". Somehow, I don’t see that fully satisfying anyone these days.
