Nintendo announced another update for the 3DS. And it’s a pretty impressive update.
1) The 3DS will be able to capture 3D video. You can shoot up to 10 minutes of 3D video at a time.
2) You’ll be able to transfer batches of data from one 3DS to another.
3) Nintendo added stop motion photography.
4) StreetPass will get an update with map feature and also a sequel to the Find Mii game.
5) HuluPlus will be added for those that don’t like the selection in Netflix.
This free update will roll out in November.

Wonderful how Nintendo implemented 3d, yet it’s too much a hassle for me to find the right position behind the 3ds, and my kids all agree.
I’m afraid they will have to come up with something different to beat the phones which my kids now use to play on.
Still the old NDS-ses in our house still are being used, but nobody is interested in the 3d.
@Ronald – I haven’t used the 3D function all that much. I did get used to the angle to view it but find that it’s not all that useful in playing games.
The thing with Nintendo is that their Mario line of games are exclusive to their own hardware. So they will always have that market to support them. I love Nintendo games, easy pick up and play type.
Will this update only be for the 3ds…i know about the 3D parts, but what about the other items? 2-5?
@Ryan – It’s exclusive to the 3DS.
