Design and features

This cleaning tool is designed for a wide number of different functions. It has two different speeds and is very easy to switch from one to the other.

Setup

Setup of this tool first consisted of charging the battery. USB-C charging made it much easier as all of my devices seem to be heading in that direction. Initial charge took about an hour before the light turned green and I was ready to go.

Performance

There are a lot of different cleaning options with this tool, so it was hard to know where to start. The kitchen sink was right in front of me, so I gave it a try. First impression was that it was a louder than I expected. I used the scrubbing brush and it did a pretty great job.

The next project I took a stab at was some grout that had splashed on our garage door last year and would not wash off. We had sprayed and scrubbed it, but it just wouldn’t come off. I figured it would be a good test of the scrubber. I started with the foam sponge and some soap and went at it. After scrubbing and rinsing, not much had changed. I even switched between the regular speed and turbo and that didn’t do much. Figuring it needed a rougher scrub, I switched to the hard scrubber and added some lime-away to the spray. That really seemed to do the trick and most of it came off! It was nice having the scrubber because it was able to go much faster than I could ever by hand.

The next cleaning attempt was a bathroom sink. No judgement, please. It quickly cleaned things up and worked very well. Using the sponge scrubber worked great.

Rounded and flat surfaces are pretty easy to scrub, but I wanted to see how it worked on corners. I switched over to the large round brush and gave the corners in the shower a try. There was some buildup that was a good test. The round brush just couldn’t get into the edges and corners, so I switched over to the corner brush, which worked much better!

Round brush and corner brush.

The final test I put this tool through was scrubbing the grout in the tile on the kitchen floor.

Dry. I like the results!

All-in all, it cleaned things out well, but there was some back and forth with figuring out the right scrubbing head to use.

What I like about the Marchpower Electric Spin Brush

  • Lots of different scrubbers and heads to use in different situations
  • Rechargeable battery that lasted through all my testing
  • Extendable arm that I could change the angle on

What needs to be improved?

  • Noisy motor. Not a deal-breaker, but it’s not a quiet tool

Final thoughts

I think this tool is handy and will be a nice when cleaning some of the larger and more tedious projects around the house. I think it also has the potential to really help those who might have a more limited range of motion. While noisy, it still works well. If they can quiet the motor more, it would be a strong recommendation from me. As it stands, it’s nice to have.
